Overview
For over six years, FBCEP has been partnering with Compassion Focus Ministry’s church planting and ministry efforts with discipleship booklets, financial donations to feed orphans and to drill water wells in villages and tribes where churches are being planted. Pastor Franklin lives and serves in a poor area of India (Markapur) providing support for orphan children, widows, training pastors, planting churches, etc. In August-September 2023, four FBCEP missionaries were commissioned to Markapur on an exploratory/vision trip and saw the great need to continue partnering with CFM supporting evangelism and discipleship work in villages and tribal communities where the vision and plan in process is to establish churches in over 20 villages. Our church will continue partnering with CFM in support of church planting, related ministries, and potential community development projects such as poultry and goat farming. For those who may feel called, a mission trip to India includes sharing and serving to orphans and widows as well as participating in evangelistic Gospel crusades, health and hygiene education, VBS for hundreds of children, training to pastors (and wives) to help them succeed in ministry. It is a mission trip ideal for individuals prepared to present the Gospel regularly or to provide training to pastors and their wives, to ministry leaders, Bible lessons to children, and potentially providing assistance in poultry & goat farming, etc.
