OVERVIEW
Dallas is the 9th largest city in the United States, and when including surrounding metropolitan areas, it becomes the 4th largest metro area in the country. With this size comes tremendous opportunity—and tremendous need. An estimated 6,000–10,000 individuals experience homelessness in the Dallas area, and one in five people lives in poverty. In South Dallas alone, 23% of residents live below the poverty line, and more than 60,000 people reside in public housing.
Although Dallas has more churches per capita than any other major U.S. city, it also faces significant challenges, including one of the highest crime rates among cities with over one million residents. This mission trip offers families a unique opportunity to learn together, serve together, and love together while sharing the hope of Christ.
This trip is intentionally designed as a family mission experience, allowing parents and children to serve side by side, grow spiritually together, and live out their faith as a family unit.

OUR PARTNERS
Buckner International (Dallas)
Buckner International is a faith-based ministry serving vulnerable children, families, and seniors both in the Dallas area and internationally. We will serve at their Family Hope Center, a child-centered, family-focused community hub where families receive support, encouragement, and resources to reach their God-given potential.
Last year, twelve missionaries from our church served with Buckner and experienced a meaningful and impactful partnership. As Buckner prepares to establish a Family Hope Center in El Paso, returning to serve and learn alongside their team will help equip us to serve effectively when they arrive locally.

Missions Arlington (Arlington)
Missions Arlington partners with more than 300 churches to “take church to the people” by meeting practical needs and sharing the Gospel. They focus on evangelism and discipleship for individuals and families throughout the Arlington community.
